the exam with flying colours. That means the overall pass percentage was 84.15
per cent for regular students and 35.92 per cent for private students. In 2017,
the pass percentage was slightly less compared to 2016 result. The pass
percentage of 2016 was 85.63 per cent whereas this year it slipped to 84.15 per
cent. The Telangana Board is expecting a better performance from the students
in Telangana Board SSC Result 2018.
Taking the gender rivalry further
in TS Board SSC Result, the girls fared better than the boys with the pass
percentage of 84.70 per cent. The boys could score pass percentage of 82.95 per
cent. Compared to 2016, the overall passing percentage fell by 1.4% in 2017.
The marginal fall in the pass percentage was due to strict invigilation, a
fool-proof conduct of the examinations with the deployment of sitting and
flying squads and maintenance of standards in the examination process.

examination from March 14 to March 30 at 2,600 centres across the state wherein
total 5, 33,701 students had appeared.

Meanwhile, Medchal district stood at the top in both the first and second-year
results, followed by Ranga Reddy in the second position. Mahbubabad district
figured in the last position in the first and second year results, while Nirmal
and Gadwal shared the last position in the second year results. The total pass
percentage in the Telangana Board 1st Inter Result 2016 was a dismal 53.32 per
cent. In 2017, the girls had toppled the boys with a margin of 12% as they
secured a passing percentage of 63% in comparison to 51% scored by the boys.
